Rachel writes: Now that we have entered December, we all have a busy month ahead, still time for rowing though!
Next Saturday, there will be a later start to rowing, sometime after 10am due to the low tide. While waiting, there will be an opportunity for a bacon roll, buy a few raffle tickets, join in Mike’s skills workshop, and even bring Christmas into the shed!!
A few members will be in Woudrichem / Holland taking part in the 45-mile charity relay row on the river Merwede with other Scottish, Irish, and Dutch rowers. We will be using the six Dutch skiffs GROOT & Grut 1, 2, 3 and 4, Zwann and Dwarsbongel. The event is raising a lot of money for the Red Cross, and is great fun!!
